The Shorin Ryu MN website was recently hacked. More specifically, an admin account on the site was hacked.

We have deleted this account and any content/posts associated with this account. We will continue to monitor the site activity.

Success in South Africa, next up… Romania.

img_2916Sensei Dieter competed with the US Martial Arts Team representing the USA at the TAFISA World Martial Arts Games in Johannesburg, South Africa. Sensei Dieter competed in four events and metaled in all four events (one silver and 3 bronze). Congratulations, Sensei! Your entire dojo is beyond proud of your accomplishments. You have set the bar very high.

Up next, Sensei Dieter will be competing with the AAU National Team at the 7th European Champions Cup 2016 – Cluj Napoca, Romania – December 3-4, 2016.

The dojo WILL remain OPEN during the TAFISA World Martial Arts Games

We are excited that Sensei Dieter will be competing with the US Martial Arts Team representing the USA at the TAFISA World Martial Arts Games in Johannesburg, South Africa. Congratulations, Sensei! Please show him some support and cheer him on!
The dojo WILL remain OPEN while he is away but with REDUCED HOURS. Classes will be taught be senior students during this time.  Please see below and on the dojo calendar for these hours.
Temporary Hours – October 10-28th

SCHEDULE – Class of the Kyoshi’s 2016

Here it is, the 2016 Class of the Kyoshi’s schedule.

We are honored to have Patrick Haley Kyoshi leading the event again this year along with Clint Green Kyoshi and David Ahrens Kyoshi.

But wait, there’s more… Also joining us this year will be Jerry Holt Sensei, Michael Kiefer Renshi, Ray Owles Renshi, Stephen Ferraro Renshi, and Amy Green Renshi.

This is quite possibly the best line up of Martial Arts instructors to visit Minnesota for a single event… Ever!

There is something for everyone, all styles, all ages, everyone is welcome!
